About us
Welcome to our Jiu-Jitsu community! We opened our doors in January 2024 and have since built a vibrant, welcoming Academy from the youngest at the Kids Program 4 years old to the eldest approaching 70 in our Adult Class. With nearly 30 years of experience, Professor Renato has taught at venues, including private academies and police stations in Oslo and served as the Head Coach of the Jiu-Jitsu program at Arena Gym in Jeddah from 2016 to 2017. Known for his welcoming, humorous, and professional approach, Renato shows that Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone—there are no limitations based on age, shape, or background. Whether you're looking for a motivating new hobby or aiming to step on the mat in competition, we are here for you!
Renato Tavares
de Moraes
Renato Tavares de Moraes is a distinguished 4th Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, trained under the esteemed Eduardo 'Teta' Rios and Ricardo Liborio. Hailing from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, Renato began his Jiu-Jitsu journey at just 6 years old. He earned his black belt in 2006. With years of experience and expertise, Renato continues to inspire and spread the passion for the sport.
